BRUCE STONE, OCNT

PRESIDENT

Bruce began mowing grass as a young boy in the Rocky River area and has worked endless hours to grow the company into the success that it is over 35 years later. Bruce is certified by the Ohio Landscape and Nurserymen’s Association as an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician (OCNT) and is licensed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture for turf and pesticide care.

JAMES RAMEY

MECHANIC

James is responsible for the overall maintenance of Yard Smart’s fleet of over 25 trucks and trailers and all of the mowers and equipment that are utilized by our crews on a daily basis. James is a certified ASE mechanic and has worked diligently to uphold all safety measures available on the vehicles and equipment. He celebrated 10 years with Yard Smart in 2020!

MATTHEW MCDERMOTT

ACCOUNT MANAGER

Matthew is a key point of contact for our clients as he assists in managing their lawn and landscaping services. Matthew brings both his education and experience in the green industry to the Yard Smart team. Matthew began his career at Yard Smart in the Fall of 2023, and is eagerly learning our system and processes.

KATE MCGORY, OCNT

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Graduating with Bachelors Degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Tiffin University in 2018, Kate utilizes her education to fulfill many roles within the company. She is eager to fill any position as needed and is currently learning the processes of the company both in the field and alongside Bruce. Kate is certified by the Ohio Landscape and Nurserymen's Association as an Ohio Certified Nursery Technician (OCNT) and is licensed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture for turf and pesticide care. Kate completed multiple classes in Tri-C's Plant Science and Landscape Technology program earning a certification in Plant and Pest Identification.

DANIELLE STONE

OFFICE MANAGER

Danielle is the welcoming voice you receive when calling our office and manages the office location. Utilizing a degree in Business Management and Marketing, she keeps the company operating smoothly and efficiently and assists with the creation of advertisements. She is an asset to the company and a key point of contact for our clients.
